I hope you had the absolutely best day with family, friends, and enjoyed food and laughs because we sure did! I typically do a turkey trot with friends, however was feeling run down, and friends were all scattered this year, so did a workout at home in the morning and got to enjoy watching the Macy’s Day Parade on TV. Usually I am at the trot and miss this part with my parents and sister so it was so nice to just relax and watch it with them. I absolutely love all the marching bands, singers and floats, and of course I loved seeing Santa!
Then it was time to start making some pies, I always make the pies and usually the Pecan Pies are my go to and everyone favorites! So I made 4 this year, then added an Apple and a Peach pie in the mix. The Peach was the taste test winner, they are all from scratch and the pie crust recipe was my BIL’s mom’s so it was an all round favorite!
Then the crowds ( our family alone is a crowd ha) started rolling in so we had 10 adults 2 children, one future baby ( January) and a great time. The baby even got a happy birthday baby pie! Baby B we are all excited to meet you! An easy Peach Pie Recipe for you. And Paula Deans Favorite Pie Crust.
Baby B got it’s own Birthday Pie
Dinner was absolutely fantastic! My dad cooks for about 2 days straight since we are the pickiest eaters around, he makes a pasta, a meat, a veggie, a starch, a gluten free, a you name it option for everyone! For the Gluten Free Stuffing we went with this Trader Joe’s Favorite.
And Always a turkey!
My dad also made some very happy campers in A and J when he brought them home treats from Germany, they were chocolates in little bags, and the bags also had little brooms on them ( for Santa’s helpers to clean the chimney) J loved this part the best and cleaned the whole whole with his.

Thanksful for this one!
Then after dinner and dessert, we moved into the living room and watched ELF! ( round 2 of the day for some of us!) and the kids loved it! I think Elf is my all time favorite movie! We also watched Home Alone and Annie, do it was a fun filled movie day at our house! The best part were the movie snuggles and floor time, it really is what the holidays are all about!

Then this morning ( Friday) I woke up and saw the best sight ever….SNOW! We get our Christmas tree every year ( we cut it down) and it never snows, and it’s snowing today, it was the best thing to see in awhile! I absolutely love the holidays and the holiday’s with snow what could be better!
And to jump start a little health back in my day today, I did a kick bum tread tabata! Last Black Friday I got a new treadmill and I absolutely hate the idea of black Friday shopping, but if you need a big item ( for me the treadmill) I do recommend going you get a good buy and save some big $$$. Today’s workout was:
Treat Tabata Friday
Treadmill: 2,4,6,2 Incline stays for 8 full rounds at each level, 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest for 8 rounds, then you move to the floor, then back to the tread.

Lowerbody: Lunge Jumps, Squat Pulses, Side Squat with Cross Lung, Wall Hold. Repeat each.
