HAPPY WEDNESDAY!
It’s about 50 degrees in Boston today, and amazingly beautiful out. Can’t wait to walk around at lunch and enjoy this nice day! Did you guys get out and vote last night? I taught class until 7 in Boston and rushed home to make the voting before polls closed at 8. I made it with about 60 seconds to go.

My friend over at Burpees to Bubbly asked me to do a little post on what my TREAD TABATA class was so I wanted to share. I am a certified teacher in Kathy G’s Tread Tabata and teach it at Beantown Bootcamp on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
The class is structured as a HIIT workout. A HIIT workout stands for High Intensity Interval Training.
We work off of a Tabata clock ( Tabata mean’s 8 rounds of exercises 20 seconds maximum effort 10 seconds rest). We spit the class between Treads and Floors. If you start on a Tread you will end on the floor and vise versa.
Example Class:
Treadmill ( 8 rounds 20 seconds on high intensity, 10 seconds rest)
60 Seconds Rest
Floor ( 8 rounds of exercises 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest)
Treadmill ( 8 rounds 20 seconds on high intensity, 10 seconds rest)
60 Seconds Rest
Floor ( 8 rounds of exercises 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest)
Treadmill ( 8 rounds 20 seconds on high intensity, 10 seconds rest)
60 Seconds Rest
Floor ( 8 rounds of exercises 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest)
Treadmill ( 8 rounds 20 seconds on high intensity, 10 seconds rest)
60 Seconds Rest
Floor ( 8 rounds of exercises 20 seconds on 10 seconds rest)
And I like to finish with about 5 mins of solid abs 🙂

A part I think is so important in any class is the dynamic, teacher, participants and MUSIC! I always like to find songs with a fast enough beat, are not over played, and people can dance along to when they feel exhausted. Here is my November List. What am I missing? What should I add?

Toe taps, Bench Situps, Triceps Planks, Bosu Crunches, Bosu arm Rows. Engage that core, and hold each pose for a few extra seconds, the longer the hold the harder the abs work!
