Weekend Round Up

Monday is here!
Are you a Monday person? I usually have to “nicely” tick myself into being excitied for Monday’s. I do like that they are a fresh start, and a new motivation to start something for the week.
This weekend was very fun and just what I wanted.

I sadly have found out that I have too much ACIDITY in my body and am getting a million and ten cavities and fillings no matter how much I brunch or floss. Thankfully my sister went to the store and got a million products that will hopefully keep my teeth a little stronger. I had three fillings filled on Thursday at the dentist and it was possible the most painful next few days ( and still is) in the right part of my mouth. More like a throbbing pain. But after that my weekend did get better.

I headed to Maine to visit my friend S as she her boyfriend and her dog ( Bear) just moved up there. It was so much fun getting to see her and catch up and explore Maine with her. She lives in a beautiful house and they have so much space and just seem so beyond happy and at peace up there. We got to hit up the gym, some yummy meals, go to an Maine wild Animal park ( Moose, Bear’s, oh my!) it was really so fun!

Thank you S for having me up! I miss you and am so happy we meet running so many years ago! I also love my new slippers- your the best! Thank you!

Sunday was a little more relaxed. I had a personal training session in the morning and then meet my brother, his wife, and A and J at church in Boston. We then headed to the commons to play and then of course to see the Ducklings. If you live in Boston you have seen these adorable guys before, and if you visit Boston swing through the Public Gardens and see them. On Sunday they had their red scarfs on for the colder months. Also we were walking through the park and J was struggling to keep up and he yells ” I JUST WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND” my heart almost melted into a million pieces, all he wanted to do was hold his big sisters hand. Anyone know how to freeze time?

I also finished my book The Other Wes Moore and have started Captive in Iran. Next up on my list after this one is Still Missing. Any recommended books I am missing and should pick up?

How was your weekend?

How are you starting the week off right?

Anyone have tomorrow off from work for Veterans Day?
